Archer Welcomes Ten New Associates

Archer is pleased to welcome ten new associates, as the firm continues to grow across various practice areas throughout all of its offices.
The firm’s new associates include:
Melissa M. Malik is a member of the firm’s Environmental Law Group in the Voorhees office and works with clients on a wide range of environmental matters, including regulatory counseling in areas such as hazardous waste, air pollution control, water pollution control, and toxic substances. Melissa handles transactional work, as well as works on complex environmental litigation and other complex environmental matters. Prior to joining Archer, Melissa served as a law clerk to the Honorable Aimee R. Belgard, P.J. Cv., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Burlington County. Melissa received her law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law.
Alexis M. Way is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation Group in the Voorhees office and handles a variety of litigation matters, including those related to trademark infringement, non-compete agreements, breach of contract, products liability, civil rights, and estate distribution. Alexis assists in all aspects of litigation, from client counseling and initial pleadings, to appeals. Prior to joining Archer, Alexis served as a law clerk for the Honorable Michael J. Haas of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division followed by a clerkship for the Honorable Faustino J. Fernandez-Vina of the New Jersey Supreme Court. Alexis received her law degree from Rutgers Law School.
Antonio (Vinnie) Sorrentino is a member of the firm’s Family Law Group in the Voorhees office and assists clients in family law matters pertaining to divorce, child custody disputes, child support issues, property division, alimony, spousal support, adoption, and domestic violence. Prior to joining Archer, Vinnie served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Kevin T. Smith in the Superior Court of New Jersey in Gloucester County. Before that, he served as a law clerk for the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law in Mercerville, NJ. Vinnie received his law degree from Rutgers University School of Law.
Doris C. Njoku is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Tax Appeal Group in the Princeton office and specializes in the litigation of complex commercial and industrial property tax appeals involving a variety of property types. Doris advises clients on property tax issues, liabilities, and valuation at all stages of prosecution. In addition, Doris assists with condemnation actions and state tax matters. Prior to joining Archer, Doris served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Michael J. Gilmore, J.T.C. of the Tax Court of New Jersey. Doris received her law degree from Drexel University, Thomas R. Kline School of Law.
Robert J. Faugno is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation Group in the Hackensack office and handles a variety of litigation matters, including those related to trademark infringement, non-compete agreements, contract disputes, consumer fraud claims, products liability, and business torts. Robert assists in all aspects of litigation, from client counseling and initial pleadings, to appeals. Following law school, Robert served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Peter F. Bariso, Jr., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson Vicinage. Robert received his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.
Corinne Chen is a member of the firm’s Business Counseling and Intellectual Property Groups in the New York office and handles a variety of trademark and copyright matters, corporate matters, including entity formation and dissolution, corporate governance, and commercial transactions. Corinne regularly assists clients in the preparation, review and negotiation of contracts. While in law school, Corinne completed a judicial internship under the Honorable Leo M. Gordon at the United States Court of International Trade in New York. Corinne received her law degree from New York Law School.
Themistocles (Themis) L. Galanos is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Group in the Philadelphia office and handles all aspects of commercial real estate acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, and redevelopment. Themis works with clients to facilitate development projects and navigate the necessary code regulations faced at both the county and state levels. He also works with clients on structuring, negotiating, and drafting a variety of transactional documents, analyzing due diligence materials, and assisting with the coordination of deals through closing. Themis received his law degree from Widener University Delaware Law School.
Timothy E. Horn is a member of the firm’s Estates & Trusts Group in the Voorhees office and handles all aspects of estate, trust, and related tax matters, including planning for both simple and complex estates, and probate litigation. Tim assists clients with drafting Last Wills and Testaments, revocable and irrevocable trusts, Durable Powers of Attorney, Living Wills and Advance Healthcare Directives. He also assists clients with gifting and transfers of family assets and closely-held businesses. In the area of estate administration, Tim represents clients in all aspects of probate matters. He also assists clients with post-mortem estate planning opportunities. Tim received his LL.M. in Taxation and his law degree from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.
Rebecca L. Hutcheon is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Tax Appeal Group in the Princeton office and handles all aspects of local property taxation, eminent domain, redevelopment, and state tax matters. Rebecca focuses on the litigation of complex commercial and industrial property tax appeals involving a variety of property types. She advises clients on property tax issues, liabilities, and valuation at all stages of prosecution. In addition, Rebecca assists with condemnation actions and state tax matters. Following law school, Rebecca served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Jonathan N. Harris (Ret.) in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division in Newark, NJ. Rebecca received her law degree from Rutgers University School of Law.
Jason Zoranski is a member of the firm’s Business Counseling Group in the Voorhees office and focuses his practice on federal and state income tax matters. Jason regularly advises clients on federal and state income tax issues related to the operations and activities of corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, and tax-exempt organizations. He also assists clients in various corporate transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, asset purchases, stock purchases, membership interest purchases, joint ventures, restructurings, financing, business dissolutions, and commercial transactions. Jason has served as an Honors Legal Intern for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
