Loretta is a paralegal in the Intellectual Property Group, specializing in the prosecution of patent, trademark, and copyright matters. Her experience includes filing and maintaining U.S., PCT, and foreign patent and design applications and related trademark documents; filing and maintaining U.S. and foreign trademark applications and related USPTO documents; researching U.S. and foreign patent issues and law for attorneys; performing assignment and patent and trademark family searches related to due diligence; assisting clients with tracking the status of their patent and trademark portfolios; organizing prior art for patent disclosure; managing the legalization of formal documents; and meeting the formalities requirements set by foreign and U.S. jurisdictions. Loretta is also responsible for maintaining the Foundation IP docketing system for all patents, trademarks, and copyrights, as well as, creating reports and docketing records. Loretta has over 30 years of experience as an IP paralegal. She first started working in the Intellectual Property field when maintaining a docket meant to manually enter the filing dates and due dates in a calendar diary.
