Overview
Heather focuses her practice on corporate and commercial litigation. She advises clients on a variety of matters, including contract disputes, corporate governance, shareholder rights, employment disputes, protection of trade secrets and unfair competition, business torts, and consumer fraud. Heather works with clients ranging from large corporations and small and middle-market companies to closely-held and family-owned businesses, and individuals. Her work includes all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, drafting discovery requests and responses, motion practice, and taking cases to trial and on appeal.
Prior to joining Archer, Heather completed a year-long clerkship for the Honorable Michael Noriega, Associate Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court, where she assisted in a variety of legal matters. Leveraging this experience helps Heather dig deeper into the facts of her clients’ cases and translate the technical aspects of their matters into simple and concise language they can understand.
Clients appreciate Heather’s collaborative style and her practical, thoughtful approach to resolving their matter. A strong advocate for her clients, Heather guides clients through the legal process providing clear and consistent communication, and ensuring they are comfortable and informed at every stage.
While attending Seton Hall University School of Law, Heather served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Esther Salas, U.S.D.J. Additionally, she also served as a legal and policy intern for the New Jersey Reentry Corporation in Jersey City, NJ.
