Overview
Gladys focuses her practice on commercial and complex litigation. Gladys handles a variety of litigation matters, including contract disputes, civil rights matters, creditors’ rights, and business torts. She represents companies and businesses in a broad range of industries, and individuals in state and federal courts in New Jersey. Gladys assists in all aspects of litigation, including client counseling, drafting pleadings and written discovery, drafting dispositive and non-dispositive motions, and reviewing and producing documents.
Prior to joining Archer, Gladys served as a judicial intern for The Honorable Morris Smith of the NJ Superior Court, Appellate Division where she conducted legal research, wrote legal memoranda, and drafted an unpublished opinion. While in law school, Gladys was honored with a First-Year Legal Writing Award, as well as a Pro Bono Publico Award for Significant Service and the Honorable Judith H. Wizmur Bankruptcy Pro Bono Award. In addition, Gladys was a Hunter Moot Court Oral Argument Finalist, a Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Fellow, and a Social Justice Scholar. Before law school, Gladys worked for various organizations in a legal capacity, including Adobe, Inc. and the nonprofit Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights, as well as served in legal roles for several law firms.
