Overview

Amy maintains a diverse commercial and complex civil litigation practice in state and federal courts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She represents a wide range of clients, including individuals, small and large companies, and public entities in business disputes, breach of contract claims, and civil rights matters. Amy assists clients in all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings and written discovery, drafting dispositive and non-dispositive motions, and taking cases to trial and on appeal.

A problem-solver whether she is tackling novel or complex legal questions, Amy works tirelessly to represent her clients. An important member of the firm’s legal teams, she meticulously researches and analyzes the issues facing her clients, continuously learning more about their business and industry. Clients appreciate Amy’s collaborative style and her practical, thoughtful approach to resolving their matter.

Amy began her career at Archer as a summer associate. Prior to rejoining the firm, she served as a judicial clerk for the Hon. Michael J. Haas, J.A.D., Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. Within the firm, Amy serves as a member of the Professional Development Committee, Peer Committee, and Hiring Committee.

Notably, Amy was salutatorian of her graduating class.

Representative Experience

Represented manufacturer in insurance coverage dispute over policy’s pollution exclusion
Representing school district in negligence suit involving newly enacted exception to sovereign immunity
Obtained a dismissal with prejudice on behalf of parking authority in class action filed under Section 1983
Represented doctor and medical practice in buyout dispute during twelve-day bench trial, which ultimately resulted in an affirmance and reversal in clients’ favor on appeal
