Identity theft creates serious problems for both consumers and businesses. For certain businesses, the enforcement of federal rules designed to help stop identity theft is set to begin in November. Failure to abide by the rules can result in fines and expose those businesses to civil litigation.

Thomas Muccifori to Speak at "Demystifying Chancery Practice" Seminar
Thomas A. Muccifori will be part of a panel that also includes presiding New Jersey Superior Court Chancery Division judges from Central and South Jersey counties. The panel will discuss general equity and probate practices and procedures, including Orders to Show Cause and emergent applications such as TROs and varying Preliminary Injunctions, plus tips for demystifying practice in the Chancery Division. The program is presented by the Burlington County Bar Association's General Equity Section, which Mr. Muccifori serves as Co-Chairman. The seminar has been approved for continuing legal education credit for New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
