Stephanie J. Zane Elected to the American Inns of Court Board of Trustees

Stephanie J. Zane, a Partner in the Family Law Department of Archer in Haddonfield, has recently been elected to serve a four-year term on the National Board of Trustees of the American Inns of Court. The 2016 American Inns of Court Board of Trustees Election concluded on April 20th, and the Board of Trustees approved Ms. Zane’s election during its May 13th meeting held in Alexandria, Virginia. Ms. Zane will begin her term on July 1st.   

The American Inns of Court was founded and dedicated to promoting the highest levels of professionalism in the practice of law. Celebrating its 35th anniversary, the goal of the American Inns of Court is to promote and communicate a culture of excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility, and skills to the legal community and generally. It has earned both national and international prestige as an organization that links formal law school education and legal practice by presenting continuing education in the Common Law tradition.

Ms. Zane was recently re-appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey for a third three-year term as a member of the State of New Jersey Committee on Character. Ms. Zane is a Master and Executive Committee Member of the Thomas S. Forkin Family Law American Inns of Court, and is Chair of the American Inns of Court Program Awards Committee. Ms. Zane is the first person from New Jersey to ever serve as the Chairperson of this Committee. Ms. Zane serves as the Chairperson of the Cooper Hospital Patient and Family Advisory Committee, where she is working to integrate the voices of patients and their families into health care operations.
