2025 Business Law Symposium

Archer partner Gianfranco A. Pietrafesa will be serving as the moderator and a speaker at the “2025 Business Law Symposium.” Joining Franco as a speaker at this year’s event will be Archer partner Kate A. Sherlock. Co-sponsored by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) and New Jersey State Bar Association’s Business Law Section, the Symposium brings together attorneys, accountants and other professionals to explore the latest trends in and challenges for business.

Franco will be speaking on the mergers and acquisitions market and trends. A member of Archer’s Business Counseling and Mergers & Acquisitions Groups, clients rely on Franco to navigate the complex legal issues involved in M&A transactions and assist them in making the right strategic decisions.

Kate will be speaking on New Jersey’s new data privacy law. A member of Archer’s Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Group, Kate collaborates with clients to protect their data and comply with various data privacy laws.

Other scheduled sessions include updates on covenants of non-competition, corporate/LLC matters, tax issues, buy-sell redemption agreements, and financial statements.
